Longacres Music Studio was established in 2019 to give young talented children of this school the opportunity to develop their love for music. Passionate, professional and performing music educators, in their own right, are on board to share their knowledge with these enthusiastic young learners.
Apart from individual one-on-one lessons, we offer preparations for external exams, performances, Eisteddfods as well as ensemble classes (string, brass and percussion). Longacres Music Studio is also proud about their own orchestra, the LAPS orchestra. Here young musicians have the opportunity to experience the ultimate of making music together.
The major instruments we offer tuition for are; piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, guitar, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, french horn, drumkit and singing. We also offer external music exams through UNISA and TRINITY Collage of Music.
Together we walk the musical road to great heights, here at Longacres Private School.
